Animateur

Since studying on the Music in Community course with Dee Isaacs at the University of Edinburgh, Amanda has been in demand as a freelance community workshop leader and choral animateur. Amanda’s work has involved the following stakeholders; Aberdeen International Youth Festival, Edinburgh International Festival, National Youth Choir of Scotland, Stirling and City of Edinburgh Councils and Renfrewshire Leisure. Amanda thoroughly enjoys combining singing and her love of arts education. This work has taken her around the world.

16 Singers Dance Umbrella and The Egg Theatre’s devised music theatre piece for 0-18 month year olds, incorporating dance, puppetry and song by Katherine Morley and with music by Paul Rissmann.
